+ LED LIGHT KIT — light it up on the shelf$49.99 value — bundled for $30.99Nobody here will tell you their bricks aren't excellent — we're builders too, and the shelves behind us prove it. The brick was never the problem. The price was. The brick patent expired in the 1970s: at brand price you're paying for the licence, the retail markup and the marketing — not the plastic. We make the same brick, to the same tolerance, and skip the badge.
Build it, display it, love it — or send it back within 30 days for every dollar, no questions asked. The risk is entirely ours.
Why the price looks too good
Nobody explains this on the shelf tag — so here it is, in plain words.
The brick patent expired in the 1970s. Anyone is allowed to make the brick, to the exact same dimensions. That part isn't a secret — it's law.
At $169.99, you’re paying for everything except the bricks. The licence, the brand, the retail markup, the marketing. The plastic is the cheapest thing in the box.
We make the same brick, to the same tolerance — and skip the badge. Tight clutch, crisp color, fully compatible with every brick you already own.
Then a person on our team opens, counts and re-seals every box. Numbered bags, a clear illustrated guide, and a hand-checked piece count before it ever ships.

Real builds, filmed by real customers.
Screen-free hours, honestly counted:
Numbered bags out, zero sorting — the floorpan and the flat-six go together first, and the shaping starts almost immediately.
Bodywork. The 911’s curves are the whole challenge and this is where the clever part usage shows — the rear haunches especially.
Roof panel stowed, plates fitted, badges gleaming. A classic 911 on your desk — finished, displayed, yours. Then decide whether to rebuild it as the Turbo.

The BrickSmart Promise
The people behind the boxes
Every set that leaves our warehouse gets opened, counted and re-sealed by a person on my team. I started BrickSmart after one too many $80 boxes with loose bricks and missing pieces — so if a set isn't good enough for my own shelf, it doesn't go in the box.

The spec sheet

Built the Targa, lived with it a month, then took it apart and built the Turbo. Both look finished — neither feels like the compromise version. Best value set I own.

Dark orange and nougat against the white body looks properly seventies. He found the roof stows under the front hood and was delighted.

Every logo is moulded in. On a car this size the badges are what sell it, and there’s nothing to peel or misalign. Curves on the rear haunches are superb.

Seven hours and I wasn’t rushing. Nice change from the five-thousand-piece sets. Docking a star only because I now want the Turbo built too and only have one box.

Under fifteen hundred pieces, numbered bags, clear guide. My first set and I never got stuck once. It looks far more expensive than it was.

Added the kit and the rear light bar glows red across the whole back end. On a desk at night it looks like a photograph.
